Join Us for a Special District Event: Kingdom Building in Latin America
Dear Members of Our SID Lutheran Congregations:
We are excited to invite you to a meaningful event sponsored by our District’s Mission Dominican Republic Task Force, focused on the theme of “Kingdom Building in Latin America.” This gathering will take place on November 17, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School; 1300 Belt Line Rd., Collinsville.
This event is a wonderful opportunity to learn about our district’s mission project dedicated to preparing professional church workers—pastors, deaconesses, teachers, and evangelists—in Latin America. We are honored to have Mrs. Tori Egger with us, who recently returned from a mission trip to the seminary in Latin America, accompanied by several Concordia St. Louis Seminary students. She will share their experiences, insights, and the impact this mission work has on building God’s Kingdom.
Join us as we hear about the vital work being done in Latin America and discover how we can support these efforts. Together, we will explore the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in training church leaders who will spread the Gospel and serve their communities.
Details of the Event:
- Date: November 17, 2024
- Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School; 1300 Belt Line Rd. Collinsville

A free will offering will be taken to support this important mission project, and we encourage everyone to contribute as they are able. Following the presentation, we invite you to stay for refreshments and fellowship. This will be a wonderful time to connect with one another, share our thoughts, and enjoy the community we have built together.
We hope you will join us for this inspiring afternoon as we come together to support the work of the Mission Task Force and engage in the important task of Kingdom building in Latin America.
In Christ’s service,
