Apologetics 102 Workship

Do you, or people you know, sometimes have questions about the Christian faith? Apologetics is the effort to provide answers to those questions, and to address the challenges people pose to Christianity. Zion Mascoutah will host an Apologetics Workshop on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 9:00-3:00. Topics to be addressed include “What Is Apologetics, and Do Lutherans Really Do That?” “Genesis and Genetics,” “The Resurrection of Jesus,” and “Apologetics in the Public Square.” The day will also include a panel discussion with time to ask questions. Speakers will be Rev. Dr. Kirk Clayton, assistant professor of theology at Concordia University, Chicago, Rev. Dr. Michael Fieberkorn, pastor at Zion Lutheran in St. Charles, MO, and Dr. Nancy Almodovar, the founder and host of “Lutheran Girl Apologetics” and the Campus Center Director for Park University at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, where she teaches courses in World Religions. The registration fee is $20 for the workshop. Lunch will be provided. Mark your calendars now to attend this Apologetics Workshop at Zion Mascoutah on Saturday, October 12.
