The Convocation is a three day convention designed to encourage, equip, and celebrate those serving in Lutheran education from across the nation. With plenary sessions, sectional tracks, exhibits, and social events, it supports participants in their ministry calling as they gather “TOGETHER in St. Louis”
Who Should Attend?
This event is ideal for educators and leaders across Lutheran school settings—from early childhood through higher education, administrators, pastors, and educational support staff—especially those seeking renewal, professional development, and community within Lutheran education.
Keynote Speakers and Entertainment
- Dr. Tim Elmore, founder of Growing Leaders, guiding youth leadership development
- Gerry Brooks, veteran educator turned national encourager for teachers
- Mike Goodwin, comedian and humor coach featured at the banquet
- Rev. Greg Seltz, Executive Director of the Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty, as worship preacher
Sectionals, Fellowship, and Learning Opportunities
Attendees may choose from over 30 different sectional sessions in each time slot on Thursday and Friday, spanning topics like classroom resilience, trauma-informed teaching, technology routines, classical Lutheran education, inclusive practices, faith integration in math and literature, ethical use of AI, and more. Plus, plan to attend the Thursday banquet and Friday’s “Meet Me in St. Louis” event.

- Urban Education Ministries Brunch (Thursday): Focused workshop on fostering belonging in diverse student communities
