DCE Retreat

SAVE THE DATE:
DCEs join with us and other Directors of Christian Education across Illinois this November at Camp CILCA. Rev. Brian Davies serves as retreat presenter. Registration fee is $125 plus there is a $70 Room Fee (Lodging). Before arriving, plan to purchase and read before the retreat “Connected to Christ” (which you can purchase here). Once at the retreat, participants will receive “Captivating Conversations” for no charge.
Registration opens September 9, 2026.

5:30 Rest, Dinner Prep, Personal and Small Group time
6:00 Dinner, Conversation, Games, Walk

Monday, November 2
8:00 am Word & Song (Morning Devotional Time)
8:30 Breakfast, Conversation
9:30 Teaching Time – Rev. Brian Davies – Connected to Christ – with designed small groups
11:00 Rest, Lunch Prep, Personal and Small Group times
12:00 pm Lunch, Conversation, Play, Games, Rest
Camp Activities include archery/hatchet/ knives throwing; wide variety of camp games, grass or beach volleyball, basketball, hiking, challenge course, fishing, boating, prayer trail, polar plunge, pine forest (building forts), hammocking, gagaba/1, frisbee golf (camp has two sets of discs)
