Older Adult Bus Trip to Branson

September 17-18, 2025

Join us for a bus trip to Branson, Missouri!  Each year, the Older Adult Ministry Team of Southern Illinois District take a bus tour.  This year, the group is heading on a trip to Branson.  The group will see two shows: David at the Sight and Sound theater and “Down Home Country” show.

This trip is designed for adults aged 50 and above, and is also walker-friendly.  Scroll below for additional details.

Registration

Registration is currently full. Registration fee is $240 per person.  This fee includes the bus fare, two shows in Branson, and the buffet lunch on Thursday 9/18.

Meet & Park in Illinois

Everyone will meet and park their cars at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville (304 South Street, Collinsville, IL 62234) on September 17, then load up into the bus for two days of fun and fellowship.  The party should return around 6:30pm on September 18.

Lodging

Overnight lodging is at the Savannah House Hotel in Branson.  Travelers need to reserve their own room reservations.  Please call the motel to make your reservation 417-336-3132 or 800-383-3132.  There is a group registration under “SID-Southern Illinois Lutheran Church Group”.

Cost should be $102.65 per room.  This includes breakfast and evening dessert.

Wednesday, September 17

7:30a  Bus pick up at Holy Cross, Collinsville
8:00a  Depart for Branson
Around noon– Stop for Lunch (at own cost)
3:00p  “David” show at the Sight and Sound Theater
Around 6p– Dinner (at own cost)
After Dinner– Check into Savannah Hotel and enjoy evening dessert

Thursday, September 18

Before 9a– Complementary breakfast at hotel
9:00a  Depart Hotel
10:00a “Down Home Country” show
Around 12p– Lunch Buffet at Old Times Country Buffet
6:30p– Estimated return time to Collinsville
